This page explains how to request deletion of your FelixFitness account and the data associated with it. You do not need to install the app or sign in to submit a request — you can email us using the details in section 02.
If you have FelixFitness installed, this is the quickest way to submit your request.
Your request is submitted as soon as you confirm. We will email you at your account address once the deletion is complete. This action cannot be undone.
If you can't access the app or no longer have it installed, you can request deletion by email instead.

When your account is deleted, we remove the following:

| Account & sign-in | Your email address, name, date of birth, and authentication credentials held in Amazon Cognito. |
| Profile | Display name, profile photo, privacy settings, app preferences, and displayed achievements. |
| Fitness data | All logged workouts, strength and cardio exercises, sets, reps, weights, saved templates, statistics, streaks, and earned awards. |
| Social content | Your posts, comments, likes, follower and following connections, pending follow requests, and block list. |
| Notifications | Your in-app notification history and your push notification token. |
| Uploaded files | Profile images stored in Amazon S3. |
Once we process your deletion, your data stops being available in the App straight away. A limited amount of information persists briefly for technical reasons, or is kept longer where we have a legal obligation or a legitimate need for it:

| Recently deleted records | The App keeps an offline copy of your data on your device and syncs it with our servers. When a record is deleted it is flagged immediately and stops being served to any device, then the underlying record is erased automatically within 30 days. |
| Backup copies | Our databases keep continuous backups so we can recover from an outage or a technical fault. Residual copies of deleted data may remain in that recovery window for up to 35 days, after which they are no longer retrievable. |
| Safety & moderation records | If you filed a report, or another user filed a report about you, we keep that record for as long as it is needed to prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service. We retain these because deleting them would let an abusive account erase its own history simply by closing and reopening an account. |
| Records required by law | Retained only as long as the applicable legal, tax, or regulatory obligation requires. |
| Aggregated & anonymized data | Statistics that can no longer be linked to you or to any individual may be retained indefinitely. |
Deleting your account is permanent. We cannot restore a deleted account, its workout history, or its social content, so you may want to record anything you'd like to keep before you proceed.
